N. M. Rifat
Campaign Officer
N. M. Rifat currently serves as a Campaign Officer at CLEAN, where he actively contributes to initiatives focused on renewable energy, environmental rights, and climate equity. His work centers on raising awareness about the negative impacts of fossil fuels and empowering communities to advocate for their environmental rights.
Before joining CLEAN in January 2025, Rifat worked for three years as a Research Assistant with various international NGOs and Universities. His academic background informs his dedication to critical issues such as water management, natural resource management, sustainable energy transitions, climate change adaptation & mitigation, agricultural resilience, and biodiversity conservation. Rifat holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Environmental Science from Khulna University.
Outside of work, Rifat enjoys exploring the countryside and capturing its beauty through photography. He is an avid reader, music lover, and film enthusiast with interests ranging from cobbling to preaching!!
